Neverlasting
Neverlasting was built around the premise of overworking to the point of neglect. As my MICA thesis I wanted to express how I was struggling with a full-time job, family issues, and school work. It seemed like this project was built as a reflection but also caused grief and strife as many of the files became corrupted in the process creating even more time crunches and long nights. Though I am happy with the outcome I know there was much more this film was supposed to have.
I thank the support of my friends and family as they were not only inspiration but the motivation for me to continue with this film.
Casey’s Design was a combination of myself and my cousins. I wanted her clothing to seem like she was seeking more comfortability than style, along with her hair being put up to be out of her face.
Her Space design I wanted her to blend in with her surrounding but also standout enough to still be the focus for the audience.
The Mother’s Design I wanted to create an older woman who looked like a combination of my mother, my aunt, and grandmother. Somewhat aging with greyish streaks in her hair, while dressing comfortable but still very put together.
